Kingfisher is offering two business intelligence seminars that should be worth checking out. All of the information can be found here. I would recommend sending your business folks to this seminar as it will help them get a handle on business intelligence, which in turn will start to make our jobs easier. Educated customers make for happy development teams.

The next NCBOUG meeting will take place on May 9th at Railinc (7001 Weston Parkway, Cary NC) from 10am - 2pm.
This will be the first meeting of 2008 for the NCBOUG.
Meeting Agenda:
9:30 am - 10:30 am: Check in and coffee.
10 am - 11 am: Overview of the APOS solutions, with particular focus on relevance for the XI 3.0 user, as well as using Microsoft Outlook as the end user BI Portal. - APOS
11 am - 12:15 pm: High level walk through of a complete BI solution. This session will walk through BI strategy, high level design, data modeling, architecture, prototyping, and implementation. All while building a live Xcelcius Dashboard application. - Solomon Technology Group
12:15 pm - 1 pm: Lunch
1 pm - 2 pm: What’s New in Crystal Reports for 2008 - presented by Kingfisher Inc.
2 pm - 2:15 pm: Closing comments and volunteer meeting for the next user group session.
